2026 Piano Competition.

The Competition is open to pianists ages 18–30 as of May 9, 2026. The application deadline is May 1, 2026. A completed application form and a non-refundable application fee of $75 must be submitted.

Applicants must submit a video recording totaling 10–30 minutes of repertoire for preliminary screening. The video must be provided via an unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link, and the link must remain active through the conclusion of the competition. Videos should not be set to “Private.” Downloadable files or large email attachments will not be accepted. Editing within a work is not permitted.

Advancement to the Semi-Final Round will be determined on the basis of the submitted video performance. Letters of recommendation and documented major competition prizes may be reviewed at the jury’s discretion only if additional distinction among applicants is required. A maximum of 20 pianists will be selected to advance to the in-person Semi-Final Round on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Finalists agree to allow their performances to be recorded and to appear on the Musicians Club of New York website and affiliated YouTube channel. Prize Winners will be invited to perform at the Musicians Club of New York’s fundraising Gala on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and will receive an additional honorarium of $100.
